In the vein of the early Christian theologians, issuing tidings in the form
of an Easter Letter I want to offer my apologies for having been offline from
this blog for so long. Additionally, there were several kind and supportive
comments waiting for my approval that I did not know about. I could
partly blame it on the fact that I was not emailed notification about these,
but in reality, I have been handling the decline and death of both my parents
over the last several years, followed by dealing with their estate matters,
truly an all-consuming and demoralizing set of tasks.
So, with that said, I want to thank everyone for their support and to encourage everyone to like my public page on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dr-Arik-Greenberg/203743062988065), or follow me on Twitter @DrArik. You can also follow the Facebook page of the non-profit that I founded, the Institute for Religious Tolerance, Peace and Justice (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Institute-for-Religious-Tolerance-Peace-and-Justice/215402468497328), and see our page, (www.InstituteForReligiousTolerance.org) to view our recent and upcoming events and campaigns. Also, I have become integrally involved in the movement to unionize part-time and contingent faculty in higher education. Please feel free to view the FB page of our movement at Loyola Marymount University (https://www.facebook.com/LMUnifiedAdjunctFaculty).
Here is to a wonderful rest of the year, committed to social justice and making the world generally a better place.
Happy Easter (Pascha) and Happy Passover to all of you. "Christos Anesti!" as the Greek Orthodox would say.
All my blessings to you,
Arik
